A Filipino Party and Being Drink Conscious
After being apart for two years, we needed a reunion, but I kept in mind to not have it be like family gatherings of old. I wanted to be mindful of everyone’s drinking preference. I wanted a Filipino family party where no one was excluded.
Blue Lake Adventures
Jordan and I hike to Blue Lake whenever we get a chance to spend a summer in Cascade, Idaho. It is one of my favorite hikes because it’s an easy 1.6 mile out-and-back hike that has breathtaking views at every turn. It was our first time hiking as a family of four. Thank goodness my sister came out to visit because three adults to two littles made for an easy-going hiking adventure.
