A Space to Be Alone

Let’s talk about alone time. This Summer we escaped to the mountains and in seeking out a place where we can recenter, it allowed me to see that there are various ways to be alone; alone time for yourself, alone time as a couple, and alone time as a family. All with the purpose to reconnect.

A 21st Century Woman

With the close of Women’s History Month, I reflect on my own history, looking back at the events that shaped me into the woman I am today. These contemplations and the outfit were inspired by Mike Mill’s 2016 movie, 20th Century Women.

Setting Intentions

On the first day of January, I attended a virtual event on destigmatizing wellness and mental health in the Filipino-American community called New Year's Resolusyons. What was most impactful for me was a workshop led by political strategist Holly Lim, who taught how to set intentions instead of having resolutions.

Styling It with Kevin Ho

I’m so excited to start The Riza styling feature and to start it off with my friend, Kevin Ho! Kevin is a Bay Area based photographer. I met him in February during NYFW while we were both in front of Springs Studios doing our thing; he was shooting street styles and I was illustrating.
